Shipping Policy

OVERVIEW

Kakapo home prides itself on great products. Making sure they arrive to you is no different and we outline this process below.

Shipping within the North Island of New Zealand is $15. Larger Items need to be freight checked prior to dispatch. South Island orders require a quotation prior to dispatch.

Delivery time should be 5-7 days. This is subject to events outside of our control being weather events, Pandemic shutdowns, and acts of God that could affect the day-to-day operations of the business.

All deliveries must be checked and signed for upon receipt. Any damage visible from the outside prior to opening must be photographed and sent to Info@kakapohome.com the same process should be followed if there is damage within once opened.

If damage is present from freight or the product is faulty You must let Kakapo Home know immediately. Any claim must be received within 7 days of delivery. Any claim after this time will not be accepted.

Should you need to Claim for damage from freight, you must provide the following so we can present this claim to the relevant freight company.

  • Full name and address.
  • Consignment Note and invoice number.
  • Date and time the item was delivered.
  • Name of who signed for the Item.

 Once we have received the above information, we will endeavour to reply withing 5 working days.

The submission of this information does not admit liability for your claim. Should the item be accepted as damaged. The damaged item remains the property of Kakapo Home. The client is responsible for re wrapping the product ready for collection. A freight notice will be emailed to the client to adhere to the package rady for collection.
